Today is over! Whew ..seems like each day lasts a little longer, hey I thought the older you get the faster time goes by? Must be extenuating circumstances.
Yesterday I had blood work done: My WBC, MPV, Bands %,Anion Gap and AG Ratio were low. MCHC, ALT, AST,and Monos were high. I am not sure what that means , but maybe that is why I feel so tired....Sounds good to me.

Lisa wrote me a sweet letter today, she is going to be a participant for 1st Annual Miles for Melanoma of Delaware 5K Run/ Walk to benefit the Melanoma Foundation. It touched my heart to have her participating in honor of me.

Carolyn dropped off a wonderful surprise from the "Mod Hatter" How fun, 2 great hats! Hopefully I will continue to have hair to put them over! Thanks Carolyn you are amazing!

This probably does not mean much more, but here's what I found:
WBC = White Blood Cells
MPV = Mean Platelet Volume
MCHC = Mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (calculation of the average concentration of hemoglobin inside a red cell)
ALT = alanine aminotransferase (enzyme found in blood)
AST = aspartate aminotransferase (enzyme found in blood)
% Mono = Monocyte
Take care,
MC
Hi Lynette:
Keep up the fight...you are on your second week now. You will soon settle into a routine now and it will fly by.
Those test results sound normal. Your WBC will be low and your liver function tests will be elevated. As long as they are monitoring your bloodwork twice a week you will be fine.
I have the same prescription for anti nausea now and have been taking them. I think that if you need them you should take them. I think those side effects happen if people are taking them every 6 hours for days or weeks in a row. Now is not the time to suffer! Alleviate any symptoms you can to make yourself more comfortable. I have been taking them sporatically with no problems.
Well, I hope all goes smoothly for you from here on in. I am on your side and thinking of you. Take care of yourself.
PS.. I heard a song on the closing ceremonies for the Olympics and thought about you. I said..Oh, that's a Lynette song!! Because it sounds like the type of song you like to play on your blog. It is called Pull Me Through by Jim Cuddy. He is a Canadian artist. Check it out.
