69th injection over

So my 69th injection is done. It is Saturday and we just home from Mass. I always feel renewed after church. My side effects were pretty bad last night. I can't seem to shake this awful headache, and body aches. But tomorrow is always another day.

68th injection done

One more down and under my belt. As these injections drag by, I think I will never be done. But when I look back to day one it did pass fairly quickly. I just wish the side effects were not so bad.

66 and 67th injection over......

I don't really have too much to say today. Side effects are still there. My muscles are feeling especially achy, I wonder if it is the cold weather aggravating my side effects.
I called to check on Aunt Anna, her ankle is broken in 2 places and she broke a toe on the other foot.
Paulette's Mother passed away last weekend. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Goodbye Uncle Johnny....

You will be missed by so many

Today was a very sad day. We said goodbye to Mike's Uncle and Godfather Johnny Gentile. There is so much to say about this wonderful man. He passed much too soon.
I cannot imagine the grief Aunt Anna feels today, she is such a sweet and kind woman too. They say good people attract each other. And the two of them had such a love that I believe will surpass time.

This is where we had the luncheon. It was so nice to see the family, it is just so sad when it is under these circumstances. As we were all leaving Aunt Anna slipped on the steps and hurt her ankle very bad. The ambulance took her to the hospital. We still do not know how serious it is. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Anna.

65th injection over...

I am feeling uncomfortable...

I thought I needed a laugh today, the wind feels like it is blowing 50mph. Jesse is having eye surgery, Cory hurt his back (bulging disk). Lisa is lonely and sounds like I am having a pitty party.
My side effects have really hit with the nausea, I can only look forward to feeling normal. It has been so long since I have felt normal. I can't remember how it feels. Boy am I looking forward to that some day.

64th injection done

Today I did not have time to think about side effects. I worked a few hours in the morning and then went to the Cancer Center for my flush and Labs. I always get nervous when it takes a while to aspirate my port. but after contorting my neck and arms the port finally aspirated. It is always so nice to see all of my Oncology Nurses. They are such special people. We had a little time to burn until my Oncologist appointment so we stopped and picked up our turbo tax, and a few other needed things. I cannot believe how much it costs for a day planner refill. Wow.

Off to the Oncologist. Everything is in the semi normal range, which makes Mike and I smile. I am glad today is over, with those few errands I am exhausted and achy.

61 injections done

Each injection is a small hurdle. I am still working towards the half way mark. In 2 weeks I will be there.
Spring is around the corner, and there are so many things to be joyful about.
I think I was exposed to a cold or some type of virus. I have been feeling really bad today. I hope it will pass soon.

#58 injection done

Today was about the same as all other side effect days....ick.
We have been waiting for the huge snow storm the weather people predicted. I think so far we have seen a dozen flakes (all weather reporters). I can't believe there is not any real news going on. They get a story and beat it to death.

The countdown continues.....
