Monday was a great day. I had 2 days off from treatment and felt pretty strong.
I went back to work, it was so good seeing everyone again, hearing all the familiar sounds, and just feeling useful again. Everyone brought in food for a welcome back celebration, and there were flowers and balloons at my desk. It was very touching, thank you everyone for making me feel so missed and just being my friends (family).
Grace cooked dinner and brought it over, it was delicious. The only thing that would have made the day perfect, would have been not having to give myself my injection.
I think Mondays are looking like the worst nights. But I made it through another night of fever and chills. I feel pretty wiped out today.
4 down...140 to go.

It was great to see you. Don't worry. There will still be food left when you come back in tomorrow.

You're getting there, slow but sure. You're doing good! It was great seeing you back again.
Hi Lynette:
I am still around....just back to reality and caught up in the everyday stresses and work BS!
I am glad that you survived the month long treatment. I don't know why you are still getting such extreme side effects at the end though.
You are quite brave to start self injecting right away. I had the home care nurse do it for about 3 weeks....then I took a week off. Still suffering from nausea and extreme fatigue though.
I hope that you are able to tolerate work well. I know it is a struggle for me .
Take care,
Chris
Lynette,
I like that quote, words to live by for sure! You look great and I'm glad to see you back at work:) I was thrilled to see Chris wrote, I was wondering how he was doing. See you tomorrow :)
